​What Are Makeup Tokens?

Make-up tokens are virtual vouchers added to your account that you may use to schedule an additional group lesson. These do not apply to private lessons. Please see Private Lesson page for more information on these.

You may report an absence and book a makeup through our client portal on our website www.aquabilitieswithjennifer.com

If you will be absent from a group class: 

​

• In order to receive a makeup token, you must report your expected absence through our client portal (this allows another student to use your spot as a makeup) 

• Only one token will be issued per month 

• Makeup tokens do not have a monetary value and cannot be redeemed for tuition

• For optimal learning, please make every effort to attend the class you are scheduled for 

• ​

Scheduling a Makeup Lesson:

• You may schedule a makeup lesson in a class with availability 

• Makeups may be scheduled at any of our locations 

• Makeups must be done in the swimmer’s current class level 

• Tokens can be redeemed only while you are enrolled in a swim class so that you are covered by insurance 

• Makeup tokens expire three (3) months from the date of the absence 

• All makeup lessons must be booked online by the parent

• A confirmation email will be sent upon successful booking

• Please note that makeup lessons are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed

• Many of our classes are at capacity and may be difficult to find

Closures by Aquabilities:

​

• In the case of inclement weather or emergency-related closures, participants in group classes will be provided with a makeup token

• On land safety lessons will be given during unexpected pool closures due to bodily fluids/feces in the pool, thunder and lightning or an acute mechanical issue 

• Private lessons will be credited back onto their Aquabilities account for pool closures

• Scheduled holiday closures are built into our tuition and will not require a makeup

• Planned pool repair and maintenance closures may be rescheduled to a previously scheduled day off.  (when this is not possible, a credit will be posted to your Aquabilities account)
