My child is unable to put his/her face in the water

 

My child is comfortable in the water but cannot yet swim on their own

 

My child can swim 5-10 feet with his/her face in the water without a flotation device

 

My child can swim 10-15 feet with his/her face in the water without a flotation device

 

My child can swim 25 feet with his/her face in the water while breathing to the side and back floating

 

My child can swim nearly the full length of a 20 yard pool with his/her face in the water while breathing to the side and backstroke

 

My child can comfortably swim the full length of a 20 yard pool using proper freestyle and backstroke technique

My child can comfortably swim the full length of a 20 yard pool using proper freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly technique. He/she can also perform a racing dive and flip turn.

 

My child exhibits exceptional technique in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly technique. He/she can also perform a racing dive and flip turn and has the endurance to swim for 60 minutes with little rest.
